Job Overview
RidgeCorps Group is hiring a Bilingual Warehouse Lead to support warehouse operations in Jefferson, Georgia. This 1st Shift position pays $19.00 per hour and is paid weekly.
The Warehouse Lead will help coordinate daily workflow, support employee performance, reinforce safe work practices, and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule. The position requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily employee performance and workflow in alignment with operational requirements and supervisor direction.
- Help ensure order accuracy, on-time shipping, and efficient labor utilization.
- Coordinate staffing and workflow to support daily shipping and operational deadlines.
- Train, coach, and support associates on safety procedures, standard work, and performance expectations.
- Reinforce safe work practices and the proper use of warehouse and material handling equipment.
- Conduct routine safety observations and identify potential hazards or unsafe work practices.
- Support incident and near-miss reporting and immediately communicate safety concerns or incidents to site leadership.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to training, safety observations, inspections, and employee performance.
- Identify workflow or process gaps and support improvements that reduce errors and improve efficiency.
- Work with site leadership to support safety, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking warehouse employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- 1+ year of supervisory, team lead, or similar leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or other metric-driven environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize workflow and balance productivity, accuracy, and safety requirements.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and motorized material handling equipment preferred.
- Sit-down forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks.
- Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays as needed.
