What is the turnaround time for pallets?

keyboard_arrow_down

Because our program operates on site, turnaround time is fast and flexible. Pallets are repaired and returned to circulation daily, keeping your operation supplied and running without delays.

How much space is needed for the repair process?

keyboard_arrow_down

In most facilities, our team works within the area already used for unsorted or staged pallets. We reorganize and apply 5S principles to create an efficient, well-labeled workspace that reduces clutter and speeds processing. Depending on volume, the total area required is typically 300 to 500 square feet.

What materials do you recycle?

keyboard_arrow_down

We start by sorting pallets into four categories: good, repairable, dismantle, or discard. Repairable pallets are fixed using reclaimed components from dismantled pallets. This process minimizes waste, extends pallet life, and supports your sustainability goals.

What materials are required for the repair process?

keyboard_arrow_down

We repurpose pallet parts by dismantling pallets that can’t be repaired. The only new materials needed are nails or staples used during assembly—everything else is recycled on site.

What qualifies as a damaged pallet, and what can be repaired?

keyboard_arrow_down

Damaged pallets typically have broken or loose deck boards or stringers. Our team replaces or refastens these components to restore full function and extend each pallet’s service life.

What percentage of pallets can be repaired?

keyboard_arrow_down

Typically, 90% to 98% of damaged pallets can be repaired and returned to service, keeping replacement costs and waste to a minimum.

How much longer do pallets last under this program?

keyboard_arrow_down

On average, repairable pallets achieve a four- to five-fold increase in lifespan through our on-site maintenance and repair process.

Are the pallets compliant with industry standards?

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes. Since all sorting, dismantling, and repairs are performed on your existing pallets, the materials and designs remain consistent with the standards already used in your facility.

Do you have a minimum requirement for service?

keyboard_arrow_down

There’s no strict minimum. Our team evaluates your pallet usage and creates a daily or weekly schedule that fits your operation’s volume and workflow.

Can you customize pallet dimensions and specifications?

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes. RidgeCorps designs and builds custom pallets to meet specific size, weight, and handling requirements—ensuring they perform seamlessly in your operation.

Do you offer pallet pickup or delivery?

keyboard_arrow_down

No. RidgeCorps is an on-site pallet program—our team works directly at your facility. Eliminating transport and handling costs allows us to pass those savings on to you.
